Sketching giraffes, characterising the monkeys or over-emphasising Burma’s wrinkles – it’s all part of the fun on “Art Safari”. We will spend the day exploring Auckland Zoo learning many different drawing techniques and skills on our explorations. Our focus will be on drawing the animals as much as their Zoo habitat. We will use numerous drawing mediums and each child will get their own sketching pad to record their studies and drawings – creating their own ‘explorer in the wilderness’ journal to take home with them.
